Our Main Objectives
The Objectives of implementing the Safety Management System in CASSIOPEIA SHIP MANAGEMENT LLC are:
- Provide safe practices in ship operations and a safe working environment.
- Establish safeguards against all identified risks and pollution to marine environment.
- Continuously improve the safety management skills of personal ashore and aboard ships, including preparing for emergencies relating to both safety and environmental protection.
- Provide customers with a high quality service.
- Promote compliance with mandatory rules and regulations, applicable codes, guidelines and standards set by the administration, certification societies and other industry organizations.
General Responsibilities
CASSIOPEIA SHIP MANAGEMENT LLC is the Technical Manager of vessels and takes full
responsibility of vessels under their charge. The company is involved in manning,
technical support and maintenance of the vessels.
The company is responsible for the safe operations of their ships and directly deals with the
Flag State. The respective Flag state has been informed of the fact that they are the Managers
of the vessel by the Flag state declaration from.
The Company responsibility structure is given in organization chart and in the detailed
responsibility chart detailed in following sections.
- Ultimate responsibility for organization rests with the Managing Director/ General Manager.
- Ashore technical and operational matters are the direct responsibility of the Technical Manager and Operations Manager.
